Educational Philosophy

Emily is a passionate and engaging educator who has over eight years of private lesson teaching experience. In addition to maintaining her own lesson studio, she also taught private lessons at the Kramer's School of Music in Plymouth, Minnesota. Through her years of teaching, she has worked with students whose ages range from 4-65. Emily's teaching philosophy is centered and geared towards each student's individual needs. She believes that the process of learning an instrument is a journey of exploration, and that journey is one that should be rooted in curiosity and joy. Spreading her love of music through teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of Emily's career!
